Superalloys & Turbine Blades

Superalloy & Turbine Blade Scrap

Turbine blades, vanes and other hot-section parts from aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines are made of nickel and cobalt superalloys. Many of these alloys contain rhenium, tantalum, hafnium and cobalt, which makes them worth far more than ordinary nickel scrap.

Sorting by alloy makes a large difference to the price, and we can help you sort a mixed lot during the inspection.

Typical sources: Aircraft MRO shops, power plants, gas turbine service companies, foundries and machining shops.
