Platinized titanium and platinized niobium anodes carry a thin electroplated layer of platinum. They are common in precious metal plating, PCB and connector plating, laboratory electrochemistry and impressed current cathodic protection. Even after the plating has worn, the platinum that remains is worth recovering.
Because the value depends on how much platinum is left, we assess every lot individually and explain how the price was reached, instead of quoting a flat price per kilogram.
